Kate Wong
Registered Psychotherapist
Kate is an experienced psychotherapist working with children, youth, parents/caregivers, and famlies in community mental health and private practice settings since 2016. She uses an integrative approach in her practice and draws from a range of therapeutic modalities depending on her clients' specific needs, situations, and hopes for therapy. This could include elements of body-based and relational approaches, CBT and DBT therapies, and trauma-focused therapy.
Kate strives for genuine, authentic communication and can also bring a sometimes irreverent sense of humour to her work. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process which is grounded in a caring and respectful relationship. Kate will work with you to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to explore patterns, challenges, and opportunities.
